Asian Banking & Finance with its sister publication Australian
Banking and Finance, pre-eminent business publications dedicated
to coverage of the dynamic financial services sector is proud to
launch The Asia Pacific Banking & Finance Conference. The conference
will focus on "The APEC Impact on financial services in the
next three years". This event will take place on Wednesday
7th August 2002 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel Hong Kong ( 1 Harbour Road,
Hong Kong).
CONCEPT:
Australian Banking & Finance newsmagazine has teamed up with
Axiss Australia, the Federal Government agency dedicated to positioning
Australia as a global financial services centre in the Asian time
zone, to launch this special event.
This conference has been timed to integrate with the APEC Asia Pacific
Economic Community Conference from 7-10 August 2002. The meeting
will bring together financial services leaders in the region to
discuss and dialogue the outlook and general prognosis of banking
and finance issues, and the crucial roles being played out in the
region as it alternates between the various economies from stagflation
and deflation, to rapid growth and development.
The conference will focus on opportunities and necessities for banking
and finance services in the large and disparate APEC economies including
South East Asian, North Asia, South America, USA, Canada Australia
and New Zealand.
It will be a showcase for Asia's financial services companies and
for it's leaders, who will discuss topics such as the regions economic
realities, post China WTO, The Insurance
industry crisis post Sept 11th and the regional outlook and co-operation
in financial services from a pan Asia perspective.
